Dental appointment instructions:
- Call in first. Dental appoint is very tight so you want to schedule it as soon as possible. Sometimes, you have to wait up to one or two weeks.
- In general, you could call two or three clinics to see which one is the earliest appointment. Also give them your insurance number and your situation. Ask them if they know the price. If it is urgent, you should definitely choose the earliest appointment.
- Second opinion is important in the states. Some people will compare different treatments and the price.
- If you did a X-ray picture in the first clinic, ask them to give you the image file. It is reasonable because you pay for it. And you could bring it to the next dentist or send the file back to your home dentist to ask the second opinion. Sometimes, different dentists have different opinions especially for different countries.

Dr. Chen is from Taiwan who is a dentist in the states. She speaks both Chinese and English. The place is close to Rice around I-610.

The place is in China town. This clinic is run by a family. The father is from National Taiwan University School of Dentistry. Two daughters, Asian American, grew up and got trained in the states. Three dentists are in charge of different fields. You could call in to tell them your situation and they will have a specialist for you.
